Executive Overview
Ultra-thin UHPC composite slab is an innovative precast floor structure, combining thin UHPC surface layer with lightweight concrete or EPS core materials. It breaks the thickness limitation of traditional reinforced concrete slabs, greatly reducing self-weight while maintaining high bending resistance, crack resistance and durability. This system is widely applied in high-rise buildings, renovation projects, long-span public architecture, and modular construction.
Conventional cast-in-place RC slabs normally require thickness ≥120mm. Our UHPC composite slab can achieve overall thickness from 60mm–90mm, bringing remarkable benefits for building load reduction, storey height optimization and construction efficiency improvement.

Key Technical Advantages
- Remarkable Weight Reduction: Reduce floor dead load by 20%~35%, lower foundation and column investment for high-rise buildings.
- Thin Structure, Optimize Storey Height: Extra space can be reserved for MEP pipelines, helping architects achieve higher clear interior height without increasing building total elevation.
- Excellent Crack Resistance & Durability: The fiber-reinforced UHPC surface layer prevents water penetration, protecting internal core structure and steel reinforcement, suitable for humid coastal and underground environments.
- Long-Span Adaptability : Reduce intermediate beam quantity, support large open space layout for office, exhibition and commercial buildings.
- Low Carbon & Prefabrication: Factory standardized production cuts construction waste; shorter on-site working period reduces carbon emission.
Main Application Scenarios
Lightweight floor system to control overall structural load, realize large open office layout.
Low self-weight avoids reinforcing original frame structure during floor renewal.
Exhibition halls, transportation hubs, cultural buildings requiring long-span slabs.
Match modular unit size, convenient transportation and hoisting assembly.
Engineering Challenges & Solutions
1. Interface bonding between UHPC and core layer — Adopt mechanical roughening + interface bonding agent to eliminate delamination risk.
2. On-site hoisting control — Set dedicated lifting embedded parts, optimize slab dividing size to prevent bending damage during transportation.
3. Joint waterproof treatment — Match UHPC joint sealing material to maintain integral water-tight performance of the floor system.
